Re: Account access

Go to solution

It was suggested I use Outlook. Outlook remains logged in on my Smartphone. I must not loose my smartphone!

My landline went when I upgraded to FTTP as BT needs to shutdown the 40 year old PSTN exchanges.

Also the 2FA was still set up to use an email address that I no longer have access to, so it sent it to my @btinternet address.

Hopefully changing the 2FA default to a another working email account will work.

Is this part of the work for this EU requirement?

The European Union is set to enforce new cybersecurity requirements under Articles 3.3(d), (e), and (f) of the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU, effective August 1, 2025.

I have to use WiFi as FTTP needs a mains socket to power the OTU box that the fibre plugs into, and the hub needs to be close by.
