Have sent some test emails to my "tame" contact and have not been able to reproduce the problem. Maybe clearing cache and the BT cookies solved it. I spoke with another contact this morning who had also received a massive font reply from me last week and he said that it appeared as normal on his phone but unreadable on his desktop PC. I've sent mails to him this morning with no reported problems.
As most of the issues relating to BTMail are when using the webmail interface, the best answer to resolve most if not all of the problems with BTMail is not to use the webmail version instead you should use an email client such as Thunderbird or an email app such as Bluemail and preferably not the BTMail app which in my opinion is pretty poor.
As regards if the BT "Technical" staff monitor the forum, the answer is no of if they do they never interact with the posters.
A few years back, the Moderators at the time managed to get a BTMail Team member involved on the forum but after a couple of weeks he stopped posting on the forum and from what I can recall he was about as much use as a chocolate tea pot in any event so he was not missed when he failed to show.
Hi all
This issue is still affecting my email use quite badly and I am sure that I can't be the only one.
Does anyone have any idea if the BT email team have indicated that they are aware of it, working on it, doing anything at all?
Hi @orbis37 ,
For me, the issue disappeared quite a while ago, probably about 3 weeks after the initial posts. So I assumed something had been done.
Sorry to hear you're still having trouble.
Hi 1pipster
Thanks for the response.
That's very interesting and just about the first positive note that I have read on this thread.
Did you tweak anything, change any settings, change your browser etc. or did it just clear up by itself?
May I also ask - are you using windows and chrome?
Hi @orbis37 ,
Yes, I do use Windows and Chrome. I just cleared the cache and BT cookies and it seemed to clear up.
Good luck.
@Leanne_T FYI this fault has reoccurred today. Did your technical team get to the bottom of what is causing it? I will try and clear my cache/cookies first to see if this fixes it and if not, use private browsing or Thunderbird for now.
Hi @adam101
Thanks for coming back to me.
Is this still happening after deleting cookies and cache?
If so, what date and time did you last receive an email with this font size?
Leanne.
