I am currently over seas. I have had a few challenges with BT email since arriving, involving locked accounts and LOTS of password changes. This morning I have this come up, even before adding any credentials:

Have you tried accessing your BT email through a VPN (using a reputable service) to see if the problem persists?
Thanks Kimberlin - Due to the issues I experienced in our early days here (BT serially locking my account, due to "suspicious activity" and a gazillion new passwords, I have only been accessing email via my laptop with is connected to a router with a permanent VPN connection, connected to the same server location in UK.
The issue resolved a short while after my post on here (I'm sure not connected to it in anyway), and it seems fine again now.
