Links on BT mail

I cannot click on links in BT mail.  I'm using web mail but the problem also exists on the app.  This started a couple of weeks ago.  I've tried right click on link but there's no option to open in new tab or window, also tried different browser, clearing cache, disabling extensions.

Any ideas?

Is this just on one device or multiple devices?

Are you using any antivirus/malware email guard products on your devices that could prevent the links working?

I had recently installed BT Cyber Threat Protect but have since uninstalled it.

Did this problem start after you installed it or after you uninstalled it?

Did you use the Norton uninstall tools.

It started after I installed it so I uninstalled it however, the problem still exists.  I did use the Norton uninstall tools.

It looks like it is Norton that has caused the problem. 

If you have already used the Norton uninstall tool you may still have some debris which Norton has left behind after the uninstall. 

If you feel competent you should have a look through your your devices settings to see if there are any Norton folders still on your computer. If you don't feel competent to do that you could download a cleaning program such as the free CCleaner program.

It will search for left over parts of programs etc that have been uninstalled and for registry entries that are no longer valid as well as other unnecessary items. It is pretty full proof to use but I will advise that you use it at your own risk.

Many thanks for your help.  I've run the CCleaner program and it seems to have resolved the issue.
