My BT YouView Box has developed a strange habit of deleting scheduled recordings.
I set the box to record a series. I can see it is set by the red R on the guide and I can see it is set to record in "Scheduled Recordings".
It records a few broadcasts, then fails to record any more of the series. If I go to "Scheduled Recordings" the program/series is no longer there, even though the program/series is definitely still being broadcast.
If I set the box to record the series again, the same thing happens - a few broadcasts are recorded, then it stops.
Anyone else seen this issue?
Specific examples really are needed to understand what may be happening. Ideally within the last 7 days as Guide schedule data is still available to view.
These were set last night, but gone this afternoon when I checked again:
EastEnders (BBC1) (series)
Kirsty & Phil's Love It.... (Channel 4) (series)
Dogs Behaving...... (Channel 5) (series)
It always seems to be when we set the box to record a series. Can't say I have noticed it when we set a single program, but that might be a coincidence.
These are SD recordings.
I don't think we get a choice of locations.
It's not a new box by any means and it has always worked fine before. This is a new fault in the last couple of weeks.
Mine is doing the same and has been for a week or so now.
I used to have 2 pages set up.
Now I have to set the recordings every day, which can be 5 or 6 to do.
This is across all channels, BBC, ITV, Quest, Blaze, DMAX etc., etc.
Some are one offs, but most are series recordings.
Switched the box on yesterday evening and all the scheduled recordings I had set were gone. The whole "scheduled recordings" page was empty and nothing had been recorded. Put a few back in again and will see what happens tonight.
My update is that scheduled series will record the first time, but then not be there for the next episode, next week.
However, one daily one I have been testing on BBC1 has been OK. Not sure what will happen over the weekend.
