So our bt box when on standby doesn’t effect anything.
internet works fine.
as soon as we switch on the bt tv it shuts down the internet and we cannot watch or connect to the internet with any device.
any advice would be much appreciated.

I assume you mean the Pro box?
How are you connecting to your hub, if by Wi-Fi or powerline adapters have you tried to connect using an ethernet cable?
