I have been told I need to replace my YouView box - can i purchase a new one from BT?

Thanks for posting. I'm sure we can help but I'm wondering who told you the box needs replacing? Was it a BT advisor?
My tv stopped working correctly yesterday with no sound and screen keep freezing - my husband called out an engineer who said the youview needed replacing - we can watch tv now with the aerial taken out of the box. I pay BT for broadband but not BT TV - I received this free for a while when it first started being available - I don't wish to go down the monthly subscription route for TV with BT just need to replace box - not sure how though - thank you for your help
