That's an interesting statement. I have u/l sync rate problems on my line and often use the RJ11 unplug it method to get it back. I also have to use the, ring my own line, method to get the u/l rate back. Incoming calls often knock the ADSL off. There is noise on the line with ADSL on but not as much when it's off.
