Any sim only deals & call plans for 0870?

Hey there, due to the nature of my job, I have to call certain numbers that involve a lot of 0870 numbers. I found many call packages that only provide 1000 minutes for 0870. So I would like to consult if there is any sim only deal packages or call plans that provide more than 1000 minutes to call 0870 numbers, or any add-on deals for 0870? Cheers lads~

Hi @AnnaPeters welcome to the community and thanks for posting. No sorry, these are classed as service numbers and the per-minute calling charge is set by the company who you are calling. This is the reason why they're not included in any BT sim plans and capped at 150 calls or 1000 minutes on the unlimited minutes landline calling plan.

Most businesses have hung up on 0845 and 0870 numbers because they no longer offer revenue share, do you mean 0871 numbers.

Also 084,087,118 and 09 numbers come with 2 charges per minute

1 is the service charge which is set by the owners service provider of that 08/09 number so for 08705 it's around 8 to 10p per minute plus your phone companies access charge per minute:

BT Mobile: 31.41p per minute

O2: 65p per minute

Three: 65p per minute

BT Landline: 20.9p per minute

BT landline calling plans offer 1000 minutes to call specifically 0845 and 0870 numbers up to 150 calls per month whichever is greater.

BT public payphones do not have the service charge and access charge system and work the old way and the cost of calling 

084 numbers cost 60p for the first minute plus 20p for every additional minute

087 numbers cost 90p for the first minute then 50p for every additional minute

Call charges are for cash made calls only, calls using BBG Creditcall (Credit and non-mastercard debit cards) are charged at their own rates www.creditcallrates.com

I use a Payphone if I have to call these numbers, I know its old fashioned but I don't want a big bill!
