I think I may have worked out the answer, ie I've bought two 'single' phones, but maybe someone can help anyway.
I bought my parents two of theses phones so we could monitor phone calls and block spam. They are on Virgin Media Internet and phone. The problem is that the phone will call for and you pick one receiver up to answer but the other phone will carry on ringing. This tends to happen when a caller has to announce who they are and the only way to stop the ringing is to pick up the other phone receiver. There is one phone on the hallway and one in their sitting room.
Any ideas what I can do to prevent this?
