Both of those look like they may have an internal capacitor which is strapped in.
The simplest way to try, would be to disconnect your home wiring from the external network, and the link the home hub phone socket into the internal wiring using a patch cord, as described on many of the other threads on this board.
As it worked before, on your copper line, it should work on the home hub output. All you can do is to try it.
