Is there any benefit using the NTE5c MK2 & VDSL/ADSL Faceplate MK4 over using an inline filter. Had issues with disconnects, currently connected direct to master (faceplate off) and an inline filter no drops. Would I be better leaving it as is or order new master faceplate ?

if your current setup connecting to test socket with a filter is working for you that I would not change unless you want a neater looking socket
if not broke don't fix it

Re: BT Master socket
So no benefit in speed, just wonder if I have a faulty master, but if no benefit will leave as is

Re: BT Master socket
You are more likely to get problems with a 5c, they are a notoriously cheap and nasty NTE that rely on flimsy plastic clips to maintain connection.

Re: BT Master socket
Hi @paulpa66 and thanks for posting.
Sound advice from both @licquorice and @imjolly . You're best leaving as is.
Cheers
