Just received delivery of my new BT Pro box. Very impressed.
However I can’t get the remote to control the volume on my TV. It does appear to turn the TV off when I press the BT button, anyone know how to reset it or force it to update?

Yep that doesn’t work either I’m afraid.
The blue light flashed however it doesn’t seem to pick pair to my tv. tried it several times.

If it won't control the TV, try the following:
Once you've removed any additional equipment, try controlling the TV again.

The box is connected directly to the TV via the HDMI provided.
The pairing now seems to control the TV box volume rather than the TV itself. Is there a manual option to enter a code for the make/model for the tv?
Hi @terry821 I'm sorry about that, not all TV's are compatible with the remote. Can I ask what the make and model of the TV is and I'll raise this with our TV experts?

Amazon Fire TV edition – JVC 4K (2019)
It says on-screen that you can not change the volume using the volume keys if you are in 'Surround' audio mode.
After a reboot - the volume is now working - and still in 'Surround' mode.
It is controlling the (Panasonic) tv volume - which in turn is controlling the amp.
The stb is connected via the (Yamaha) amp.
how do I reboot? Is that a soft reset or just simply turn the back on and off?
