Hi Nigel, yes I'm using the same account as set up for my broadband and BT TV but no option for BT Sport Ultimate. Will see if my Sony TV app thinks differently at half time.
@Gashead try deleting the app and re downloading it from the app store just in case it's running an old version that hasn't updated.
@Gashead Are you casting to the Shield using the inbuilt Chromecast or are you accessing BT Sport directly through the Shield App downloaded from the Play Store?
Using the BT TV app. I uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled and version unchanged

phone is on 8.9.0 so must be a completely different numbering system.
Device checker still tells me my equipment and line speed is capable of 4K and HDR but Account tells me the enigmatic need to upgrade to BT Sport Ultimate and no Ultimate channel available in the guide.
It definitely sounds like an account issue then. Hopefully one of the mods will be able to help out with it..
Tempted to call 0800 150150 again but when I called yesterday was told there was no 4K support in the Android app.
According to the FAQ's Android app only supports HDR and not 4K HDR..
@DarrenDev should the Nvidia Shield support 4k HDR on BT Sport?
