Re: BT TV Box Pro - comments/questions

Is there any way to get the new box without starting a new contract or is this a requirement?

Re: BT TV Box Pro - comments/questions

The rule is that your contract will be renewed unfortunately, if you recently renewed, renewing again shouldn't be a big issue but I can see why some customers may not want to renew.

The box will be wireless very soon and some more great new features on the way.

Re: BT TV Box Pro - comments/questions

Hi all!

Looking for some remote control help...

Got it paired to the box but doesn't seem to be pairing to my TV for volume/power. Have reset the remote too by holding 9 and Home and still nothing.

Any idea on how to manually program?

Cheers

Hi @DarrenW

I called up BT to request the new BT TV Pro Box and I recently regraded to VIP yet I am still being denied and told that the box doesnt exist and have sent me the non 4K Box saying thats the right one for the package.

Would you be able to Help me in anyway

Re: BT TV Box Pro - comments/questions

Just ordered new BT pro box had to re contract, should be delivered by 11th.  But the girl I spoke to said there is a £20 activation fee. !  I am already on VIP surely there is not an activation fee just for a new box, or am being overcharged. ? I am aware of the delivery charge.

Re: BT TV Box Pro - comments/questions

There was a £20 activation fee when I tried to get the new box online. Decided not to bother mainly because I don't want to start yet another new contract.

Re: BT TV Box Pro - comments/questions

I had the same issue with my remote control. Controls the box, not the TV. No big issue really more annoying. Just the reset and repair and doesn’t work.
