I've happily been using a Wifi 1200 extender on Band 2.4 with Sky Fibre for well over a year, then suddenly in the last month or so it keeps dropping off and scrolling for range.
I've done all the obvious - factory reset, moved it to different locations including right next to the router but every time after successful initial connection, within a few mins of restart it will scroll.
I have tried to then check the firmware (I don't believe it got upgraded in this timeframe anyway?) but I am not getting to the next screen after I log in with the correct credentials through direct network cable connection and on 2 different laptops.
So i'm trying to work out whether its an issue with the extender or my router, I changed nothing myself it just stopped working, so any suggestions would be much appreciated !!

Thanks for replying, but this is all of the things I already tried. I wasn't surmising it is the router - its the BT Wifi Extender that is now suddenly constantly searching for the network despite initial successful connection, so I would assume its more likely a problem with the Extender hence posting here for any further suggestions beyond standard help
