BT blocking a website

Apologies as I see this is a common problem but previous solutions have not worked.

I work for a company that has released a new website. Only our BT users are experiencing the security warning and being blocked from the page.

The only workaround seems to be 1. switch on parental controls 2. allow access to the site. or use a VPN or switch off BT web protect.

Our main users are students, so we cannot tell each students to ask their parents to mess with their own controls. Its a course content site for students and BT are being utterly unhelpful with asking us to ask each users to update their own settings. It's clear they are blacklisting the site based on something - but what?

Any other ideas? every BT team I spoke too has chucked the ball at another department.

Re: BT blocking a website

Hi @judeb1,

Thank you for posting and welcome to the Community.

What is the website that is being incorrectly blocked?

Thanks,

Paddy
