Hi there Ive had Bt900 installed since monday 22nd Nov. I have great download speeds via ethernet connection but my uploads seems to be capped at around 50mb.
Anyone any ideas to why this is happening. I backup lots of raw photography files via the cloud and this is slowing my process down.
any help apprectiated TIA.
Andrew

Give it another 24 hours, as the hub configuration file needs to be updated automatically by BT. If it still does not change, then please post back here.

I believe the default configuration for the Smart hub 2 has a limitation, to avoid disconnection issues on FTTC uploads. A parameter change is needed to remove this limitation on FTTP, and that relies on the BT server having your hub serial number to send the update.
If these do not tie up, then a moderator will need to contact you and fix the problem.
I also upgraded on Monday 22nd to 900 (from 500), primarily for the increased upload speed.
As of today, it appears to be capped at my prior limit of 70Mbits/s, whereas I was expecting above 100.
No issues with download speed however, getting 830+ Mbits/s.
You may need to give it a bit longer for the hub to update to the new limit.
Seems to have done the job, since I posted this it has steadly risen, now running 90-110mb each test which is great news.
Hi @Eeyoree, welcome to the forum, and as long as the hub remains connected the upload should lift automatically. If you don't see an improvement after the weekend post back and we'll be happy to arrange for this manually for you.
cheers
