But 4K ultimate cop out

I have just rejoined bt tv I cancelled in July and used to get but ultimate I have subscribed to this again but cannot receive this because apparently bt won’t allow unless you have a stay fast guarantee above 44

mine is 35 although I get speeds well above 44 and was able to get 4K previously without any problems

the only reason I went back to bt tv was to get the 4K as I could have put the sports channel on

Re: But 4K ultimate cop out

It's there for your protection - BT Sport Ultimate consumes a fixed bandwidth, so if your line is only just up to it then turning on that channel would completely wipe out all other internet access at the same time.  Not a great experience.

Depending on your subscription, you may still be able to watch Ultimate from our many digital apps.  These adapt to your line conditions, and so will drop quality slightly when needed.  We have apps for Samsung TVs, Android TVs, Fire TVs, XBox, PlayStation 4 (Ultimate should be on PS5 soon), Apple TV, Chromecast, Now TV/Roku, and Netgem STB.  More platforms/devices are also coming soon.

One other thing - you mentioned that you could get it before. I don't believe that the requirements have changed for quite a while, so it's possible that something is impacting your service speed now.  Have you made any changes to your internal telephone wiring that could be causing lower speeds or reliability?

Re: But 4K ultimate cop out

Have not touched the wiring at all never suffered any problems watching 4K and to any other devices

this is not mentioned in any thing I could find in the advertising or by the team selling this to me

im afraid but have let me down and I doubt with this new ruling only people in large city’s can get 4 k

unlike sky where nearly every one can get it
