That code look up site , although showing no Openreach fibre , does also state 100% coverage 300Mb broadband , presumably from another network provider , if that other company already has a large percentage of existing connections , then that could have been a factor in wether OR deployed FTTP or not, also it’s possible the local council had made it difficult for OR ( pretty sure , initially at least ) Kensington refused planning permission of OR to erect any more street furniture, perhaps Tower Hamlets ?, did the same , or it could even be, given that the FTTC cab has to be pretty close to the existing copper cabinet , that physically it’s was difficult /impossible to find a suitable location for the fibre cabinet.
TBH, with the current focus on FTTP, it’s not that likely ( IMHO ) that FTTC will be coming , it makes less sense now that presumably it made years ago when , in the main, the FTTC rollout was taking place, much more likely to be FTTP now than FTTC , after all 80Mb is frequently dismissed as inadequate , and would only be a stopgap anyway.

Yes, it's Tower Hamlets. Thanks for that.
I guess our problem is that there's no movement locally on FTTP either. So we're stuck.
The exchange numbers listed below the cabinets in the codelook site are Exchange Only (EO) bundles.
They are groups of lines that don't connect to any cabinet but instead connect straight to the exchange.
These can't be connected to FTTC unless the lines are diverted to a cabinet or a new cabinet is installed for them.
There is very little FTTC being installed. FTTP is the focus.
Virgin Media serve much of the cabinet 61 area.
Community Fibre are close by.
Very helpful. So does this mean Virgin Media might have installed some of their own cabinets in our area at some point? Would this be the "sub-loop unbundling" that others have mentioned?
When I check availability of Virgin Media to our specific postcode their web site says it is not available. Weird. What is "Community Fibre"?
No, Virgin media is not sub loop unbundling as they have their own infrastructure.
Community Fibre is another private company supplying its own product via its own local infrastructure. Just google it.
