Can BT's ONT be plugged into a surge protected plug strip instead of directly into the wall?

Go to solution

Hopefully not too silly of a question, I doubt there's any difference but it's always best to know well in advance as our town's in the build plan and of course I plan on getting it. I'd want the router in my bedroom but my room only has two single plug sockets in the wall, both of which have two 6-plug plug strips so I can actually use my PC, monitors, games consoles etc. Three sockets are unused and available.

Yep, absolutely no problem.

Providing it's got power, plug it in where you like.
