Hi,
Last December I got sent out a new hub - the hub I had already was fairly new already but I was sent one out anyway which I am using now.
I have noticed on visiting my elderly mother that she has a very old bt hub (the REALLY old style white one, I have no idea why she has never had an upgrade) - can I give her my previously used hub to use? Or will it need to be reset etc.
Obviously if not I will ring BT for her as her connection is weak so I think she requires some kind of upgrade regardess but thought I'd see if this was an easier solution.
Thank you.

If you had the old hub before December 2019 it is yours to do as you wish with.
Thank you for the reply - yes, I believe I got it prior to Dec 2019. My worry is if it will actually physically work for her though - as in does it need to be reset etc? or should I be able to plug it in and all will be okay?
Apologies, I'm not the most technical person.
Just plug it in. Any WiFi devices will need to change to the new ID and password.
Thank you very much
