Can't get fibre in house I bought

Hey all I just purchased a house and when we were buying it showed with the providers we could get fibre broadband of around 50mb . When looking at deals now it's no longer available someone suggested to me that the cabinet if full so I did the checker and just says it's on a waiting list, could anyone give any idea of how long that is ? If it's to long I might have to consider mobile broadband as I need a connection for work. Thanks

Waiting list is a misnomer, there is no waiting list. The cabinet is full and you need to keep checking on the checker site for when somebody ceases service and a slot becomes free and grab it quick.
