this is quite unusual but it seems i cannot series record ie Frasier on channel 4 - it only allows me to record 1 at a time. Anyone know if there is an issue?

Hi @Caher and thanks for posting with the question. There was a significant issue at our scheduling partner over the weekend that has impacted a number of services for Freeview including Channel 4, Channel 5 and S4C as well as a few of the BT TV channels, and some of those programmes are still experiencing issues while the relevant scheduling data catches up. That should resolve over the next couple of days after which series recording links should be present again.

thanks for your answer but this issue has been noticeable for well over a week now.
Thanks for letting me know. It can happen that the required series link id is not present on some episodes and needs to be manually added afterwards, the EPG will then update in the background to allow the series recording to be offered.
We do contact the content providers where we see an issue or when people tell us about it, so I'll make sure that Frasier is checked as soon as we have a clear on the current incident. If you find any other series with similar problems, please post back here and we'll check and make sure they are added as well.

Just an observation I was able to enable a series record for Frazier on C4 HD last night from the EPG and all three episodes this morning were recorded. One anomaly was that the episodes were not accurately recorded but seemed to record to EPG schedule times rather than actual episode start/end times so the the first episode had missing the start and had the start of the second episode at the end. The second episode had the start missing. The third episode seemed to be complete as it fitted completely into the EPG time schedule and has advertising either side.
can i ask @Caher what actually appears when you attempt to set a recording ?
Yes, still no series recording. Also like you say, it's quite out of synch.
