Digital voice adapter and digital phone at the same time?

Currently I have my handset connected using  the Digital Voice Adapter that BT sent me. Can I also connect one or more BT digital handsets such as the Essential Digital Home Phone? I would like to keep using my existing handset as it is also an answering machine. Thanks

Yes, you can do that. Remember that 1571 is automatically included with DV so make sure that the answering machine cuts in with less rings than 1571 if you want it to take the calls rather than 1571.
