Drumming sound on ALL soccer matches

Why do we have to have the drumming sound in the background of soccer matches when there can’t be anybody in the ground drumming

Virtual crowd noise is added to create atmosphere - most people don't like watching the match in near silence.
Some matches are also broadcast on the BT Sport Extra channels at the same time without the crowd noise, but they're in lower quality. Your choice which is more important to you.

Thank you for your response. There seems to be plenty of crowd noise which is fine but the drumming is permanently there for all match and to me is so annoying. I’ll try your resolution. Thank you
