Electricity Supply and BT hubs…

Could change of voltage in an electricity supply cause BT routers to drop out? If there was a fluctuation in power, and caused the router to go off and on for a second? I don’t think this is the issue, but I think these Smart Hubs are very sensitive.

Also which of the BT Hubs, work best with phone lines that are miles away from “the cabinet”?

Thanks!

Re: Electricity Supply and BT hubs…

Hi @Hevski77 and thanks for posting.

Sorry for the delay in replying. Electrical interference can have a negative affect on the broadband connection. Take a look at kitz REIN  for advice on that. As to your query about which hub, I personally have the Smart Hub 2 and have had no issues at all with it.

Cheers

David
