Engineer visit

Do you normally get a more accurate timeslot for an engineer's visit? I was told someone would come between 8am and 1pm but I'm sure last time it was narrowed down on the day.

Openreach visits are a 6 hour window, normally the engineer will ring when they are on their way.
Other engineers such as Qube and Home Tech Expert visits are a 2 hour window.
