FTTP drill hole

Hello!

My partner and I have today had FTTP installed. The single drill hole through the outside wall which has the cable running through has not been filled inside or out. 

Should this have been filled? Is it okay to leave it this way?

I believe some installers put a little sealant round the hole if they have any.

Mine was left without at my request as I'd rather tidy the hole up myself.

They’re supposed to use an Internal Lead In kit to cover the hole inside.

You can use an External Lead In kit on the outside as well if you want but I don’t, I just fill it with silicone.
