Hi i have just booked FTTP to be installed down my street we do not have any poles so would presume the cable would come underground the same as the old copper wire.
however we have an old house which has had an extension built on the front and a new drive laid so now the old copper were basically come up in the middle of our house, having a look at it last night i can not see any way you could get a new cable down this route as this has now been plastered over and a concrete floor laid where it comes up.
will this mean i am unable to get my install or are their other options ?
if anyone had something similar or a work around i would love to know in case i need to do some work first

this shows i have an underground duct - but as i said about this is now totally covered up by the new extension
Once they find the duct cannot be used as is they will detect where it is in relation to the outer wall, dig down, split the duct and bring back up on the outside. It won't be a massive hole or trech and they will make good at the end.
