Re: FTTP

I am in the same boat as yourself I was promised 28th last month been on the phone 100s of times complaining. Openreach even dug up my garden to place the cable at my porch but yet my appointment to finish work has been delayed to this friday its the final chance i am giving bt. It seems the worse u complain the more mess about with your appointment dates they changed me from the 7th august orignally to the 28 th of august after I complained feel like drafting a letter to ofcom about it. Their communication with open reach has not changed in over 20 years its dire.

The issue has always been that enginers are not allowed to retain appointments most of them would go out their way to help u but because its their long standing policy to shaft customers who have already bought the line and waiting for installs to get their numbers up

It infuriates me to no end that other customers get their setup installed ahead of me when all work has been completed at the exchange for me and the cable has been run they have added £60 credit to my bill but they have not told me yet how much they will pay for the extra month i have had to stay with virgin media as my bill is £80 with them

I have submitted all the evidence to Ofcom and I feel that is the only hope for me.

Hi David, yes you are right I feel exactly the same way. I have applied FTTP since May and priority given to new costumers and BT doesn’t care existing costumers so rather than waiting such a long, I have approached with Ofcom. I will let you know the time when they finish the job.

Why does this say "solved" when it's obviously not ?

Re: FTTP

The OP must have marked it solved.

Re: FTTP

What's an "OP"?  And how can they mark something 'solved' when it isn't?

Not helpful if the "OP" gets the answer, and we don't ...

Their prerogative, its their thread.

You can always start your own thread, you haven't even mentioned your own problem.
