Fibre 900 upload speed capped?

Hi,

Just had the FTTP 900 line installed this morning. Getting a steady 924 down. But why Is the upload capped to 51? should be more than that? Or Is it the SH2 firmware?

Sorry your upload speed isn't as expected. As you've just been connected you need to leave it a few days as it can sort itself out. If you don't see any change by the weekend pop back and we'll take a look for you.

Thanks for the quick reply. As I can see in other threads this seems a common thing to happen.

I Will get back to you If there Is no change, but It definitely looks like it's locked to 51 you can see it trying to go higher!

SH2 has a firmware issue where your upload is capped at 51 mb/s.

Using an aftermarket router would fix the issue.

I run my fibre 900 through an ASUS RT-AC86U and receive the full 110 upload.

Well, as of this morning I'm now getting exactly 924/111 so fingers crossed the line will stay like that!

The SH2 must have done a firmware fix.
