If I have BT TV with the entertainment package and then decide I want to cancel it, can I still use the BT TV box to watch and record from freeview without the need for a subscription package. Thanks.

Yes you can still use the Youview as a normal PVR but BT may ask you to send the box back if they gave it to you after December 2019.

If you got your Youview box before then its yours to keep.
