I got full fibre installed two days ago and was told it would take two weeks to reach full speed. Is this true?

No should be immediate
Bear in mind the speeds are to the hub not download speeds

Re: Full Fibre
Thanks. The open reach engineer told me the speed would fluctuate for two weeks and would take this long ton reschedule speed. So that is not true then?

Even if the engineer was confused about FTTP and FTTC it should still work right out of the box with no 14 day wait. If it does not achieve the correct speed from day one there is a problem.
