Has anyone connected the Digital Voice port of the Smarthub 2 to the Gigaset N300?
I see no reason why it should not worth when I am switched over.

The phone port on the hub is for a standard cordless phone if you have Digital Voice enabled
"The phone port on the hub is for a standard cordless phone if you have Digital Voice enabled"
So is it a standard PSTN port that will work with the Gigaset N300 IP?
Why not use BT SH2 DECT base instead any cables from another DECT phone base?
I seen on forum, as someone was successful with connecting own, older DECT phones alongside BT Digital Voice provided handset, with using "password" 0000 when prompted to do so, after initiate "pairing" on SH2.
On My SH2, which is paired with DECT Digital voice handset, that standard phone connector is inactive at all, and don't do nothing at all.

Because I have a Gigaset N300 VOIP/DECT base station that provides VOIP and PSTN functionality. I wish to keep both lines. Currently one PSTN and one VOIP but when BT switch me over the PSTN will be BT's variant of VOIP.
I have DV with 2 new handsets and connecting and old corded phone to the socket on back of SH2 works ok with dial tone
I am pleased to report that the N300 can be connected to the pstn port on the SH2 and it functions as expected...
Digital Voice presented as fixed line on the Gigaset handset
VOIP lines presented on the Gigaset handset as expected
Even a BT digital phone works without conflict albeit and as expected for the BT Digital Voice line only.
Just to add that I have a Gigaset DX800A set up which handles my BT Digital Voice, VOIP line and mobile calls all together very nicely.
