Got an old Disney Goofy Telephone. Plugged it in and it works but has static 

Any ideals how to stop it

Ha Ha! Got an old Goofy telephone have you! That's funny!

I would say it is probably quite collectable whether it works or not!

An old gentleman friend of mine who is now deceased had a Steam train phone that went 'choo-choo' when it rang. ( Without the steam of course!)

Hope you enjoy your Goofy telephone! Let's hope you didn't get calls from Mickey!
