Re: Help with BT email

Yes, that’s right - the Sent emails are all present and correct on the laptop where I use the BT portal - so sending incoming emails to myself from my iPhone means I can access and work on/compose reply emails on my laptop. I checked and my iPhone account says IMAP which is good from what you’ve said. I’ll try the link and let you know how I get on - I really appreciate your taking the time to help. Many thanks

Once you have installed Thunderbird, click on Tools > Account Settings > Account actions > Add mail account.

If you then enter the name you wish the account to be known as, your email address and password, click continue and Thunderbird will automatically populate the correct settings.

Pleased to hear that, an email client is a much better way to handle email than a web browser.
