Royal Mail gave us a new postcode around 7 years ago as two very similar addresses had the same post code.
it appears that my landline is linked to the wrong address due to using an old post code.
How can I get this changed? Trying to amend broadband supply is proving very difficult due to this
Solved! Go to Solution.
are you a BT retail broadband customer? if so phone CS 150
No, I’m currently with EE - tried to move over to BT and that was a nightmare (I think because of this postcode issue)
Then you need to call EE, why would you expect BT to change the customer details of an EE account?
Ermm because the landline is registered on BT’s network not EE!
The network is openreach not BT RETAIL
As an EE customer only they can change your records so as suggested by @licquorice you must contact EE

Not if you are an EE customer it isn't.
This is where it’s frustrating. EE tell me the post code can’t be changed. When I questioned it back along they said that I had to raise an Ordi request when the supply was switched over to another supplier. As they’ve not been able to switch the account over that’s why I’ve asked in here. Basically, EE are passing the buck then?
EE are the people who need to raise the ORDI with openreach. Once updated you will be able to move ISP
Yes, it has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with BT. It is between EE and Openreach. EE need to raise the ORDI request with Openreach.
