How to manage 2 whole home Wi-Fi networks from single app

I have 2 sites. First has 4 disks. At the 2nd I have just installed 2 further disks, so 2 separate Wi-Fi networks.

at the 2nd site when I tried to use the bt whole home app to configure the disks it asked me to wipe the 1st site. I ended up using a tablet instead

going forward I would like to be able to manage both networks from my phone, so using the same app.

is this possible and could someone explain how?

Re: How to manage 2 whole home Wi-Fi networks from single app

Hi @Fufunks welcome to the community and thanks for posting. That should be possible, I found the following answer on the Whole home wifi FAQ's

Can I use the app with multiple Whole Home Wi-Fi network instances?

Yes, this feature is supported.

When switching between Whole Home Wi-Fi networks, you'll be prompted by the app to confirm your selection.

If the app isn't allowing you to switch between the networks get in touch with us on 0808 100 6116 or email btconnectedhome@bt.com and the whole home wifi team will be happy to help.

Cheers

Neil

Re: How to manage 2 whole home Wi-Fi networks from single app

Hi Fufunks,

As you mentioned in your post, the App will ask if you want change the network.  The only data that is removed is the stored admin password for the network you'd be changing from.

All the data for the other network is stored on the Discs themselves, so it will just pull the data into the App when needed.

When switching between different networks you will need to re-enter the admin password each time - you'll only be prompted for this if trying to access a feature that is restricted by the admin password (e.g. the Guest Network).

Hope this helps
