Internet Connection in game.

Hi,

I've been experiencing some issues when I'm playing multiplayer games. 

I connect to the internet just fine and I see that my ping is low and my download and upload is good. But when I connect to a multiplayer game my ping shoots up causing lag. 

Any reasons to why? Any fixes? Anyone else experiencing this?

I've had this for years, but I pretty much only play the one game online (ME3 MP) and it uses a peer to peer system, so in my case I just have to live with it.
