Mini Hub states used all data allowance cannot connect

BT disconnected my broadband even though I cancelled the order. I was sent a mini hub whilst they resolve their mistake. However the mini hub asks me to login which I do and then states I have used all my allowance so will not login to broadband. I don’t have a restriction on my allowance and I have logged on to MyBT and have plenty of megabyte over 50.

I have sent two messages to BT but no response is there anything I can do to unlock the mini hub as would want to video call my children on Christmas Day?

 I could try my phone but have to go outside to get a signal would the mini hub be any better if I got it to work?
