Digital Voice does not work on that hub, it only works on the Smart Hub 2. Your phone sockets will no longer work with Digital Voice
BT support should be dealing with is this. Get back to them . I cannot believe or understand if/why you were switched to digital voice without a smart hub 2.

I will update you the other day I had broadband problems and voice got order by mistake and I cannot cancel the order, and when I spoke with BT they told me nothing about the router or cable I would need, in fact BT were very unhelpful.

Let me update you on why I am using a BT business hub 5 after doing the reset on the Smart hub 2 router the problems with the router got worse, so I phone BT and was told by Tech support that had checked the line and the broadband could not find any fault, so they told me that they could not replace the router as there was no fault. So that is why I had to buy the Bussiness hub 5, it was the only one that Amazon had in stock.

Then the only way you can use the BT Digital Voice phone service, its to revert back to using the BT Smart Hub 2. The new phones supplied by BT, will only work with that home hub.

Can you just clarify if you have ever had a Smart Hub 2 at any time? If you have is it faulty? Have you tried connecting it and trying the handset you have?
