Optical cable installation

When they install optical fibre broadband will they run an optical cable from the pole at the edge of my property to where the phone cable currently arrives at my current phone in the house? There is accessible ducting from the outside wall to the current socket. I have heard that the engineers just do what they want to do on the day, which would be no good.

If the CBT is on the Pole then yes they’ll run the fibre cable from the Pole to your house. 

It then drops to ground level where it goes into a CSP, grey box 6 inch squared and about an inch and a half deep.

An EZ Bend Cable then goes from the CSP to the inside of your house where it’s connected to an ONT.
