Hi
My BT outgoing e-mail on my Android has suddenly stopped working. I don't get any error message and I can see the mail in the send folder. I've checked incoming and outgoing settings, deleted mail client and reinstalled to no effect. Outgoing e-mail on my laptop works fine. Can anyone advise please.

Hi
BT Broadband customer
Which email app are you using?
Do you have it set up as an IMAP or POP3 account?
Have you confirmed the settings, including the SPA setting?

You may have an email "jammed" that is blocking your emails from sending. Have you tried clearing out any emails that you have tried to send since the problem started. ie going back to your last good known sent email. Do this on your email client and by logging onto your email account with a web browser (webmail).
Hi gg30340
Tx. I have done that and deleted e-mail account and re-installed after a phone restart to see if the helped but still no luck on outgoing e-mails.
Hi gg30340
I did send a quick reply but can't see it so you may not have either.
I had only done self tests to my own account on my laptop. Its working fine for other recipients so I'm happy to leave it at that as I can't think of anything else to try. Many thanks for your help.
If you are not receiving emails from your own email address try logging onto your account via a web browser and add your email address to your "safe senders" list. You can find the list by logging onto your email account and clicking on your username at the top right hand side then going to "mail" then "safe senders"
