I've been with BT for a couple of years now, very excellent service and to date not major issues. Last week following the webprotect announcement I started to experience a slower internet experience, really slow browsing response and noticeable disruptive on Teams conference calls to the point I could not tolerate them due to constant dropouts (as I work from home - not using VPN).
I did the usual BT system checks through their website and no issues were reported, however the problems persisted throughout the day.
This weekend I turned off webprotect and everything seems to be back to normal thankfully and shall leave it for the time being.
Has anyone else experienced similar troubles of this nature?
yours is a known problem when web protect is active
