Profile Reset Request

@NeilO
As requested earlier today, new post showing line stats.

Don't worry too much about only eight days connection, we had a power cut last week. Picture 1 shows syncing at 43998 Kbps with a maximum fluctuating around 52,000 Kbps. This is with download snr of between 9 and 10 dB.

Without the banding at 44 Mbps, with G.inp and vectoring working properly, the line is stable at 60 Mbps with a snr of 3 dB. The high UAS figure on Picture 3 is only due to training the vectoring on connection, as can be seen on picture 4 with the difference between link time and system time being 5 minutes.

As with @JohnnyFP 's post, I have two university students trying to work from home, one of them in the third year of a computer science course who uses a lot of bandwidth on a VR project, so any improvement would help all of us.

Banding has been in place since last year following a problem at the local cabinet when the mains power feeding it shorted out. It took so long to be fixed that the batteries failed leaving power to go on and off multiple times as UKPN repaired their connection.

This is just to show progression of stats in one morning as vectoring and G.inp kick in moving maximum rate up from 46Mbps to over 60Mbps.

Re: Profile Reset Request

@NoSirItWasntMe

that's better and can read that now

can't see anything in stats that shows internet connection time just system uptime which is something different.  Is there anymore stats that show internet time?

Re: Profile Reset Request

@imjolly

Picture 3 shows total up time 8 days 23 hrs 41 minute 12 seconds.

Picture 4 shows link time 8 days 23 hrs 36 mins 15 seconds.

As I said above the UAS number of 296 seconds is due to extended handshake configuring vectoring.

11 days 20 hours connected with only 79 Error Seconds in total, waiting months for DLM to relent hasn't worked, so can I please ask one of the mods to speak to me regarding a remote DLM reset?

Thanks

Re: Profile Reset Request

Hi @NoSirItWasntMe thanks for posting those stats and sorry about the delay getting back to you. I think it would be worth trying a DLM reset but we'll need to do some diagnostics on our side to make sure there are no underlying issues with the line. I'll send you a private message so you can get in touch with the moderation team and we'll be happy to help.

Thanks

Neil
