We have had the same problem.
We first reported this on 12 April, and had an engineer visit on 15 April. He confirmed that there were no problems outside the house. Due to Covid-19 he did not enter the house.
We continue to have slow speeds. Regular speed tests show an average download speed of 16Mbps. It also drops out on a regular basis.
Any options/solutions? Would a new router be a possible solution???

is there any line noise dial 17070 option 2 should be silent and best with corded phone
which hub version are you using

Another solution, press hard to get fibre to the home ... really good & with the new last year bt circular hubs they are really clever.
