Confirming the new version 2.27.3 - 1.0.3 seems to work on my 2016 Samsung TV with no sound delay during live football. Thanks Darren.

I have 2017 Samsung and picture much, much improved 

Not quite as smooth as pre July but watchable and 50fps, with only slight jumpiness at times
