Did anyone face a similar issue as the one below?
I have been with Fibre Halo 1 for 2 years, without facing any issue for the whole 2 years. When my contract was up, I checked the option, and the only option I was given was to upgrade to Fibre 2 and that I wasn't allowed to keep my Fibre Halo 1.
Since "upgrading" to Fibre 2, I have been facing continuous issues with my connection. Smart hub keeps getting orange, purple, green. And the connection is not reliable anymore !
What is the cause of this? Is it because I left Halo feature?
Halo is just an add on to your broadband package and will not affect your connection
please can you post the stats from your router (if hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser) and if HH5 then go to troubleshooting then helpdesk and if HH6/SH2 then advanced settings then technical log information .
Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal
