Slow speed at peak times FTTC

Hoping to get some help. During peak times (17.30 - 00.00) my speeds are dropping considerably from 53mbps to a varying amount of 900kbps to 16mbps, my guaranteed is 35mbps. Also experiencing packet loss of up to 20% and ping of 157ms+. So far CS have been of no help and had 2 engineers who can’t find the problem. Can mods still help or has that stopped since the separation of BT and Open reach?

Re: Slow speed at peak times FTTC

please can you post the stats from your router (if hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser) and if  HH5 then go to troubleshooting then helpdesk and if HH6/SH2 then advanced settings then technical log information .

can you run btspeedtester when download speed is ok and then again when you think poor and post results  must be done with ethernet connection   there is no speed guarantee on download speed as all speeds quoted by BT are connection speeds    https://www.speedtest.btwholesale.com/

enter your phone number and post results  remember to delete number   https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL
